Royal Saudi Navy CNO Visits Dahlgren
DAHLGREN, Va. -- Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD), Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) and Aegis Training and Readiness Center (ATRC) hosted the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Oct. 12.
Vice Adm. Dakheel Allah Al-Wagdani visited the training commands on board Naval Support Activity South Potomac (NSASP) during a two-week visit to the United States dedicated to seeing how the U.S. Navy trains its personnel to deploy and maintain the Aegis combat system, as the Royal Saudi Navy considers upgrading its fleet.
"It was an honor to host Vice Adm. Al-Wagdani and his staff," said Capt. Bob Kerno, CSCS' commanding officer. "It was interesting to hear his perspectives on training and discuss the opportunities available to his officers and enlisted crews. The admiral has a wealth of experience in the United States and that experience will be very important to the U.S. Navy/Royal Saudi Naval Forces partnership as they lay the groundwork for an acquisition strategy for future ships."    وهذه صوره للـLCS-2 التي ستركب عليها السعوديه نظام ايجس انشاء الله
